So today is Easter, We are heading over to my parents house for family fun time and dinner of cheesey potatoes and ham! Yummy! Yesterday we went to Mike and Candace's house for dinner and to meet thier newst little one Joshua. That was a lot of fun!! Plus it was nice to get to sit and talk with my girlfriend. Since they moved out to BFE(Aka Mayer, MN), we don't get to see them as much as i would like. So we had girl talk about babies and some of her experiences. I got some good advise about the breast pump i am buying(she has the same one) and we are now(or at least i am thinking this) probably going to have to look for another freezer! I saw how much breast milk Candace had, and it was a two week supply. It was enough to fill the bottom of their kitchen freezer and that's just the remainders of after feeding Josh!! Quite impressive!
So week 20 brings no more morning sickness...i think i am safe to say i am in the clear. We have three days and we get to find out wht we are having. I am so so excited!!!
Here is my weekly update! HAPPY EASTER!
Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

Just so you know, not everyone has that much milk! I was lucky to get enough for two days between feedings. A friend of mine couldn't get any extra. Another freezer may be a bit more than you need. I recommend freezing it flat, so you can stack them. I just used one shelf in the door of my fridge's freezer and had plenty of space.
We don't have a big enough freezer as it is. One trip to the grocery store pretty much fills it up. It's an old like 1950's model. Plus, i'm not breastfeeding, but bottle feeding with breast milk.
