Ok, so i am a little slow lately on the updates. I seriously cannot believe we only have about 4 weeks left. Or the fact that my doctor said, if i start contracting, they will not try and stop it. So we could have a little one anytime now!! We have a few things left to get, but the nursery is pretty much done!
I have been feeling her quite regularly, she is quite the mover and shaker in there. I think daddy just might have a little hockey player in there...i feel her practicing her checking. We had our last birthing class on Saturday. We got a tour of the hospital and that was pretty cool. I'm starting to get excited and a little anxious for her to get here. But i have a blanket i am knittng and i'm trying to get it done. Plus feeling a tad bit under the weather, so the couch has been my friend! Here is my 35 week update!

How your baby's growing:

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

32 weeks + 1 day

Derek and I decided it's time for our next "grown up" purchase. We are today going one more place, but we are getting new furniture!!! No more hand me downs!! We found a set we really liked at Hom furniture which we might go with. So we'll have a couch, two loveseats, a new coffeetable, and three end tables. If we don't fnd something t slumberland, we should hve them ordered and here sometime this week!

Now...what to do with the old stuff?

Wow! We're getting close!! only SEVEN weeks to go! It's starting to fly by fast!!

Your pregnancy: 32 weeks

How your baby's growing:By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

Weekend Hijinks

So this past weekend my mom and I painted the dresser white, went to Ikea and bought shelves, bought a cute Ikea over the door organizer (doesn't really match, but it's cool!!!).

Here is the newly painted dresser...i bought a changer topper from The Land of Nod. It will screw on the top of this dresser so i am excited to get that!
