28 Weeks and other Misc stuff

So here we are at 28 weeks! Into the third trimester we go! So weird to think we have about 84 days to go before the little miss is here!! Exciting, but kinda scary at the same time. She's very very active, constantly moving; bumping into me, kicking me,and her altime favorite...kciking mommy's bladder! Not the most comfortable thing.

Derek and I finally went to Star Trek at the theater today. I almost started bawling at the beginning. It was kinda sad! But Derek reassured me that he wasn't going to be in any type of infinite danger fighting off Romulans on his way into work. Very comfortng! :)

We went to Babies R Us again last night. About a week ago they had our stroller on sale for 40% off, and i had three $5 off coupons. So we got our $239.00 stroller for about $195. Well, they went and dropped the price again. So we took our receipt in and asked if we could get the new sale price including our $15 in baby rewards. The assistant manager did better than that!! He gave us the new price, minus the 40% and our $15...we got it for around $140. Hows that for watching the sales?! So then we went to JC Penneys for thier big sale, i got three nursing bras, a really cute outfit for my shower, Derek got a nice shirt and tie, three polos and a pair of shorts for a great price! We're on a roll!

Now we're just relaxing on a blah saturday, and Derek is playing his new video game on the Wii...Punch out. It's actually pretty fun to watch!

Here is our update courtesy of Baby Center.

Your pregnancy: 28 weeks

How your baby's growing:

By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
